Engineering Leadership opportunity near Roanoke, VA!
Base salary target $130k/yr. This position will lead a team of 3 full time engineers focused on New Product Development, Design Engineering, Quality, and Production Engineering.
The position will report only to the Chief Operating Officer of this small business with 50 total full time employees.
The company is a mission driven organization that supports the US Military as a Supplier of Mission Critical Equipment. They just won a very large contract which has led to multiple newly created positions.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 3 full time Engineers
- Lead Product Launch Efforts on a New Product that recently completed the R&D phase
- Implement Manufacturing Process Efficiencies
- Work with Operations Leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical or Structural Engineering preferred)
- Some Structural Engineering Experience Highly Preferred
- Management experience is preferred
